From humble beginnings as an immigrant child, Russian singer Nikolai Massenkoff has become an acclaimed international performer. After training at San Francisco State University, he founded The Massenkoff Russian Folk Festival, which immediately exploded onto the international scene. It has since appeared in more than 35 states and 6 countries, with performances at Carnegie Hall, Epcot Center, with numerous world orchestras and even in a movie with Robin Williams!

In 2004, Israel’s Helicon Records named Masenkoff one of the Century’s Greatest Artists. This season, Nikolai Massenkoff is proud to present his newest program in America, featuring an exotic duo of Russian musicians and an ensemble of four fiery Russian dancers.

Tony-nominated singer/actress, Emily Skinner brings music and mastery together in Broadway, Her Way, a tribute to the unforgettable music and electrifying performers that have graced the Great White Way’s stages. Since her debut in Side Show, Skinner has transported Broadway audiences time and time again with her rich, expressive voice and magnetic presence in shows, including Jekyll & Hyde, The Full Monty and Dinner at Eight.

Audiences adore this "true Broadway great" (USA Today) in her special solo concert celebration. Showcasing the works of landmark composers Rodgers and Hammerstein, Sondheim, Gershwin, Kern, and Berlin, as well as theatre's hottest up-and-comers, Emily Skinner lovingly honors the past while exuberantly looking toward the future.

At the age of 5, Dale Gonyea got up one morning and, without a single lesson, began playing the piano. At 10, he saw the movie, West Side Story, and was furious he hadn't written it. Today, this University of Michigan graduate uses piano to springboard his unique brand of humor, and is garnering worldwide acclaim. This Grammy-nominated and Emmy Award winner has written songs for Disney’s Aladdin and Sport Goofy, as well as for Bette Midler, Ray Stevens, Rich Little, and for a satirical British television show entitled, "etc."
Pavlo is a dynamic composer, guitarist, and singer, who has created a unique style best described as “Mediterranean music.” Mixing the sounds of Greek Bouzouki with Flamenco and Latin influences has proven a winning combination, which Pavlo says was the “natural progression” of combining his Classical and Flamenco training with his passion for Greek and European sounds.

Six acclaimed albums and one Juno award later (for “2004 World Artist of the Year”), Pavlo continues to grow in demand. With ever-increasing television and film credits, commissioned works and an invitation to perform for His Royal Highness Prince Charles, Pavlo is fast blazing a path toward international superstardom.

In their Silver Anniversary ’08-’09 season, the Side Street Strutters continue to capture the excitement and spontaneity of America's greatest musical heritage -- JAZZ! This vivacious six-piece band has raised many a roof throughout the U.S., Canada, Mexico and Europe, featuring the legendary sounds of Jelly Roll Morton, Louis Armstrong, and Fats Waller. A few dynamic arrangements of popular Big Band tunes adds a little swingin’ spice to their down-home New Orleans repertoire.

With colorful costumes, tap dancing, novelty numbers and rare instrument features, it’s no wonder that Side Street Strutters is still going strong after 25 years.  Come join in their Silver Anniversary celebration!

A live 6-piece band rocks the house in 50’s, Motown, Disco, Country and Blues styles, as a cast of 6 incredible singer/dancers make the enormous center-stage jukebox come alive with lights and sound! Featuring mega-hit songs like “Whole Lotta Shakin’,” “Respect,” “Soulman,” and “Boogie Wonderland,” American Jukebox is a vigorous trip down America’s favorite musical lanes!
Is it bluegrass? Is it jazz? Is it classical, ragtime, or Celtic? If Pianafiddle is performing, the answer is YES! Starting with only the framework of familiar melody, pianist Lynn Wright and violinist/fiddler Adam DeGraff improvise as they go, blending the known and the unknown in gripping performances that make toes tap and hands clap!

Wright (longtime jazz pianist with a 10-year stint at the legendary Silver Dollar Saloon) and DeGraff (classical violinist, 5 years with The Richmond Symphony) immediately recognized in the other a complimentary talent and a shared passion to explore all musical genres. Traditionally grounded yet spontaneous, Pianafiddle transcends performance paradigms, engrossing the audience with each note.
